Biography:
Diane S. Morse, MD, is a researcher, medical educator, clinical internal medicine physician, and Associate Professor at the University of Rochester Departments of Psychiatry and Medicine. She investigates the implementation of trauma-specific motivational, social media, and peer community health worker strategies to increase needed health services with justice-involved women and men with substance disorders and at risk of HIV, including those on probation, in drug treatment court, and recently released from incarceration. Her funding includes the National Institutes of Health, Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration, and Health and Human Services.
